A Beginners Guide To WoW
In World of Warcraft, players can progress at their own pace and pit their skills against multiple
opponents.
There are two types of characters:
1) Player Characters (controlled by "real people)
2) Non-Player Characters (controlled by the games' software)
There are nine character classes that you can choose from, each class having its own unique set of
talents and abilities. You can, depending on the class of character that you have, choose to build your character's
talent trees for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, healing or a combination. Your character can earn copper, silver
or gold to fund your adventures and in addition, you will need to work on the different skills for your
character.
The Horde and Alliance are opposing factions locked in a struggle for control of the land - and
neither side is backing down. Horde and Alliance players can battle each other, but they cannot interact, trade or
even talk to each other. So if you have friends you would like to play with, make sure you belong to the same
factions.
