Warriors in WoW
When you are just beginning World of Warcraft, Warriors are a great class to play. This is because they are not too hard to master, and you can certainly keep them alive easier than a Mage. But even though they are simple to play, Warriors are not uninteresting, there is a lot to playing a Warrior to it’s maximum potential, and mastering the Masters of WoW Combat.

The Warrior is the Master of warfare in WoW. A well-played and developed Warrior can be almost unstoppable on the battlefield. Warriors are skillful and intelligent experts on the ins and outs of warefare, not just simple hitting machines. They have a true figher’s spirit and can shout out a battle cry to rally the morale of everyone in the group. They are the masters of PvP combat, and particularly in the Arena at the end.
The strengths of Warriors is the high hit points they have, the tough defenses as they can wear any armour, and the fact that they can use any weapon they please. The main weakness of a Warriors is their lack of healing abilities, which is not great for someone that gets hit so much, so you have to learn First Aid and carry lots of healing potions. Their primary weak point is probably their lack of healing ability, but First Aid and lots of healing potions make up for it. Also, as a Warrior you get hit so much that you need to always get your armor repaired, which can be costly so get a good money-earning profession.
Some races make better Warriors than others because of their racial abilities and natural strength. Dwarves are excellent Warriors because they are very strong and have Stoneskin – which cures poisonand bleeding. Orcs are great Warriors too with resistance to stun and Blood Fury. While Trolls can berserk and have natural regeneration to heal over time. For a sneakier Warrior play a Night elf who can Shadowmeld and creep up on opponents.

Warriors use Rage to power up and do serious damage in combat – all their abilities are based on Rage. They build it up when they fight, or from some abilities and potions. This is why they are great combatants when facing many opponents at once – the more they get hit, the more their Rage builds up and the more damage they deal out!
One of the ways you can develop your Warrior as you progress is to focus on becoming the ultimate damage-dealer. An all out offensive machine that can destroy anything. Or the ultimate tank – a defensive, plate mail covered Warrior that can take any amount of damage and keep all your opponents tied up fighting while the others in your groups attack from afar.
