Paladins are among the best classes, especially for beginners, that World of Warcraft has to offer.  With the changes to the class after all the expansions, this class has become very effective.  Paladins not only have the ability to cause a lot of damage, but they are very effect tanks and healers.
Every group requires a healer, a damage dealer, and a tank in order to successfully navigate the dangers of an instance.  Paladins are one of the classes that have the ability to play all three of these roles, and are often chosen over some of the other players that are specific on those roles.  When tanking, they are a favorite because of their versatility and ability to come out alive in very difficult situations.
One of the reasons that Paladins are such a respected class is their unique, life saving abilities that are unique to their class.  For example, a Paladin has the ability to completely replenish someone’s health at least once per hour.  Another great ability a Paladin has is to encase someone in an impenetrable bubble that makes a person invulnerable, but unable to move or perform attacks.  This particularly becomes useful when a group is about to die.
In order to help their groups Paladins are also provided with two types of buffs. While one buff lasts for 10 minutes the other one lasts for 30 minutes. The one that lasts for 10 minutes can only be targeted to a single person, in comparison to the other one that lasts for 30 minutes that can take care of the other people that are of the same class.
There is another quite important thing that one has to remember about Paladins and that is their mana. When the mana bar is low Paladins need to find ways to increase their mana. They can do so either by taking a potion or taking help form Druids. Without enough mana Paladins are hardly of any use.
Paladins are heavily armored, much like Warriors, but aren’t particularly useful if a situation calls for a long range fighter.  They can make up for this weakness through the use of Librams, which are similar to wands.  Each talent specialization offers a different Libram for a Paladin to take advantage of.
You must keep a constant watch over the mana bar, while following through the guild and levelling your Paladins. It is suggested that you should try to ensure that it is full at all times, and try to repair yourself when in town. Characters that are armored although are useful as they are not damaged easily, however when you reach level 80 following the guide, you will also find that you have to pay a lot for repairing the armors.
This Paladin Leveling Guide will hopefully give you the edge you need. If you want to dominate WoW and skip through the levels quickly, read about Zygors Leveling Guide.
