Add ons are there to improve the World of Warcraft experience.
They make questing a whole lot easier, make the layout of your viewing screen much more interesting and keep track of the money you earn. If you do a Google search for WoW Add Ons it will throw out a multitude of possible sites.
If you feel like going through Add Ons via category for example economy or class PvP, one of the more popular sites that lets you to do this is Curse.com. You can download the one you select directly to your PC it’s that easy.
When you log in to WoW, click on the Add On button which you will find on the character screen and be sure that the right add ons are picked. When you log in to your character the changes will take place.
A massive downside to using add ons is that they need to be updated with each patch. It can take days possibly even weeks after the patch before your Add On is updated, this is all depending on which one it is, that’s if it gets updated ever.
It is likely that you’ll feel “naked” without a familiar Add-on especially if you have grown hugely reliant on it.
Some Add Ons could also slow the interface, especially if you’ve a slower computer or a slower connection.
You might also be faced with glitches that stop you using quest items appropriately because some add ons also disrupt various aspects of the game.
You ought to weigh your experience with the Add On, and compare it to your overall game performance, and do away with any that are not worth the aggro.
The same as with anything else you want to download, you should also make sure that you use a trustworthy source for Add Ons to steer clear of unintentionally downloading Trojans, worms or viruses.
