Four Warcraft Minerals Worth Piles of Gold
Not all ores in World of Warcraft have the same value. While mining any kind of ore is likely to be popular, concentrating on the most valuable ores will surely let you earn more gold faster. This article looks at four of the more valuable ores, two of which would interest low-level miners and two for the high-level folks.
If you are going to be mining with a relatively low-level character, Mithril and Thorium are the ores for you. Both are valuable as ores or as bars and sell well in the Auction House. But if you have access to a Jewelcrafter, you can do even better. That’s because the gems that are produced from these ores are much more valuable than the raw ore itself.
If you wanted to identify the primary mineral in Wrath of the Lich King, it would surely be Saronite. If a higher-level profession uses metals, they will need masses of Saronite. This near-universal demand is what makes it so valuable. Even better, Saronite is the top ore for producing important gems, making it even more valuable.
Titanium is the most valuable ore of all. Despite being exceedingly rare, it is a vital ingredient for the majority of the high-level Jewelcrafter and Engineer recipes. Combine extreme scarcity and high demand and you get outrageous prices. If you get successful mining Titanium, you’re going to get very rich.
