Mastering Warcraft Alliance
The World of Warcraft World of Azeroth is dominated by two warring factions between the societies: The Alliance and The Horde. The Alliance tends to be the more popular of the two groups with the players of WoW (some 11 million today). These are a few good nuggets of advice if you are beginning with a character in The Alliance.

Once known as The Alliance of Lordaeron, The Alliance moved its base form Lordaeron several years before the story of Warcraft begins. The base of The Alliance is now in the cities of Kalimor and the Southern Kingdoms: Stormwind and Khaz Modan. And five races work together to form the Alliance’s core – these are The Draenei, The Night Elves, The Dwarves, The Gnomes and of course The Humans. These are the races that loosely represent good in the world of Azeroth, although of course when it comes to politics it is not simple to label either The Horde or The Alliance as good or evil.
When you choose an Alliance character, firstly make sure that if you have any friends playing WoW, they are also Alliance. This is because Horde and Alliance characters are sworn enemies and can do litle more than fight whenever they encounter eachother, not even talk.
Then choose your professions carefully. Your professions are how you will earn the vast majority of your gold in Azeroth, and the advancement of your character strongly depends on the amount of cash you have at all times to pay for repairs, items and other services. If you have no particular preference, skinning and mining are very good gold earners – On your quests and travels between there are many mines you will come across where you can mine for valuable ores to sell, and also plenty of creatures to skin.

These general tips will help you to move along with your Alliance character a little faster. Firstly, don’t always return to town the moment your inventory fills up – make more space first. When you have to flee monsters, zigzag – that’s how you shake them off. Whenever you head of to do a big quest, get 60 food and water at least. When you reach the right levels upgrade to the best ammo it makes a big difference (that’s levels 10, 25 and 40). Don’t ever say no to a quest. And always have your best spells ready to go on hotkeys!
