Making money in World of Warcraft is one of the most difficult parts of the game.

you can build your online wealth without spending hours of time. Some of these include grinding, flipping, and questing.Some of these do take some time, but they are more profitable if you know when and where to do them to be
Grinding, sometimes also called farming, can be a very good way to make some money, especially as you get higher in levels and have more options on where to go. To start making more gold, grind humanoid enemies. They drop money as well as descent drops you can sell. When farming to get money, try not
to keep all the loot. Learn what sells and what doesn’t. You can do this at the auction house with a short amount of|little.
In Elwynn Forest, the Defias are a good way to get started. Trolls are great if you are a dwarf. You will get items which can be sold and money.
Quests are another way to earn alot of money. Also, once you hit level 10, dont just rush forward to the next area. Now you can travel to other areas. Try questing in the other starting areas at this point. It doesnt take much time now that you are higher level than most of the mobs in that area. If you are geared up for your level, you wont be spending much and selling everything you get. Doing this also builds reputation which is critical later in the game. You will have to do those quests eventually so it is a good idea to do them while you still get some experience for it.
You should consider soloing Deadmines around level 35. It is one of the best grinding areas at low levels. just drop any white or greys and make sure you have the biggest bags available. Sometimes I cant carry some of the greens i get, because of bag space. Check the auction house before you go to know what to drop and what to keep.

Learning to use the auction house can be one of the most rewarding investments of time in. If you watch the auction house, you can flip items for profit. To start flipping just buy under market priced items and resell them for the market value. you can price items for almost double what you payed. Don’t forget to consider your auction house fees when looking at your profits.
Professions can also be a great way to make money as you advance in the game. If you are interested in making money stick with the gathering professions. Skinning and mining are very easy to level and the items you get can sell very well. when mining you should check your auction house to see if raw ores or smelted ores sell better. This is sometimes different by server. Ususally i find the raw ores sell better, as they are used by blacksmiths who just dont want to spend the time farming for materials, and by jewelcrafters for prospecting. However I have seen some servers where smelted ores generally sold better.
Herbalism can also be very profitable especially with the Inscriptioning introduced in WoTLK.
