Druids Rule in WoW
The least played character types in WoW are the Druids. The Druids are actually a very flexible class that are the best to play with, and this WoW Druid guide will show you how.
Being the closest to nature, the Tauren and the Night Elf races are the two types of Druid races you can select from. When you choose to be a Druid, you choose to be a master of nature and a servant of the world. The spells that Druids cast can be either aggressive or defensive, and powerful in both cases. The best potential of a Druid, however, is the ability to shape shift, and you will learn all about it in this WoW Druid guide.
Anyone can see the many useful possibilities in being able to cast spells on minute and become a roaring bear in the blink of an eye.
Druids are strong characters; their unpopularity does not stem from being perceived otherwise. It’s quite the opposite – they are loads of fun to play with and very powerful. Developing multiple skills, as well as being limited to two races, however, do not appeal to many players, and that is the reason why they are not as popular. Druids are also a very tough class to master, but the pay-off is a lot of fun, and you get to be just a little more unique.
The Specializations of Druids
The popular choice in specializing as a Druid is to be the Feral Druid or one that can turn into different animal forms. You can get the Bear form only through a Druid Quest, but all the other forms can be bought from an animal trainer. (see the link to WoW Druid Guide Leveling below)

There are quite a few forms that you can transform into apart from the Bear, such as the Cat, the Dire Bear, Aquatic forms, Travel forms and Flight forms.
A Feral Druid will usually turn up as a Bear or a Cat. When in the Cat form, either as a Lynx or a Lion, you will have abilities similar to the Rogue class – like stealth and agility, and will also be able to deal some serious damage. To be more like a Warrior and be excellent at melees, the Bear would be the form to use because of its good offense and defense. Druids in other forms, however, will not be able to cast any spells.
